The Bauhaus is the thinnest non-quartz watch I have seen. I raised an issue where the minute hands would not consistently hit the minute marker after 60 seconds revolution by the second hands. This happens a few hours after I've set the watch synced with the atomic time, perfectly position the minute hand to the minute marker.
Based on my pristine experience with the 3135 and satisfactory experience with the 3235 (even if hit and miss), I trust Rolex and I have no doubt the source of the problem can be found and addressed, eventually. Rolex pendulums run on ball bearings (or they did) and these bearings either wear away the race they run in or the race becomes damaged due to watch falls, causing the pendulum to acquire lateral/horizontal movement and this causes said rattling and scraping. I posted about a year ago hoping to find the fix to the issues plaguing the 3235 movement. My post at the time was to find a reason and solution to the issue. While there were many interesting replies, no long term fix was ever found. That was the case until now.
This is a really common problem, and it’s very simple to fix: we just stick it next to a demagnetizer and press a button, which neutralizes the charge.
