I recently bought my first 'actual' fragrance which is Prada L'homme, and I'm looking to add a winter/evening fragrance to my starting collection. I really like D&C's The One EDP, but I read that the performance is terrible. The One EDP is a decent current modern fragrance, I think the EDT performance is lacking although it still smells good. It's pretty renowned for poor performance. Go EDP, spray on lotioned skin, and spray heavy, maybe double normal, carry travel atomizer.Perfume rating 4.50 out of 5 with 12,094 votes. I started to run out of my bottle of The One EDT right around the time that Dolce & Gabbana was releasing the Eau De Parfum version.. I than acquired a small bottle of The One EDP instead of just getting another bottle of the EDT as I was curious to see if the EDP solved the performance issues.. Dolce and Gabbana The One EDP has slightly below-average performance. It is an excellent all-occasion wear but too heavy in the summer. Dolce and Gabbana, The One EDP’s longevity, is 6 hours, and the projection is intimate. Despite Stefano Gabbana’s claim, The One is far from a simply Spicy Oriental fragrance for men. In fact, you will discover that it is a complex Woody Oriental Amber. This is due to the abundance of resinous wood notes that create intricate accords through interaction with spicy and aromatic notes.DOLCE & GABBANA THE ONE EDP has below average projection, and equally underperforming sillage. The performance of the fragrance is disappointing, and it only projecting the intial hour of spraying the fragrance. After the initial hour it quickly loses it’s .
