Though I have a Goyard tote bag that I travel with occasionally, one thing that I especially love about this Longchamp tote (that other designer bags for some reason don’t have) is the top zipper. It adds an extra level of security and privacy; I don’t necessarily want my contents out in the open for the world to see!

However, for practicality as well as style, the Louis Vuitton Neverfull and Longchamp Le Pliage bags win hands down. There’s always one trailblazer in the group—and in this case, it’s Longchamp. The brand has dabbled in prints (like with its block-lettered iteration of the Le Pliage)—but its black and navy colorways are indubitably the most classic. It comes with a water-resistant nylon body, ideal for braving a rainy day or hitting the pool.The Longchamp isn’t flashy and it’s not overly expensive so it should fly under the radar. If anyone comments on mine I play up the durability and water resistance. I have and love both bags. I suggest Longchamp for Uni because if the Goyard gets stolen, you’ll be that much more devastated!! Buy the Goyard for a work bag once you’re out of school & keep the Longchamp for travel & rainy days.
