That’s one end of the extreme. I’ve got an 8 1/2 inch wrist and am off the chart on the large size of the solo loops (ie beyond size 12). I've always had the small version. With average wrists, I just never wanted the big ones. Now, when it became clear that the rumor was wrong, and Apple delivered smaller 42 mm version, it was time to upgrade my Series 8 41 mm. This is a very comfortable fit and visually I can see everything well, and am happy for the extra battery life. My wrists are 144mm around, or 5.5".
