I have the medium puffer in the cream color and i love it. Honestly it is not that big (i do like a big bag though) and does not feel like it is heavy. I always err on the side of a little too big than a little too small to be safe.
My advice would be to use the puffer bag if it is a bag you have been dreaming about. Don’t worry about what other people think. Fashion is very subjective to begin with. The leather on my toy loulou can be very hot during the summer. I love my loulou to bits and wouldn’t mind upgrading to a smal size. The medium is a little large. I have just received the small Loulou puffer in black/silver. I was originally (accidentally) sent the medium and it was huge! The opening in this style is quite limited, particularly when it’s on your shoulder so if you have the medium, and obviously carry more stuff inside, it might be quite an awkward bag to access. The camera bag is much more casual, but is light, and perfect for running errands, and holds just as much (if not more) as the loulou. Investment-wise, I agree again with HP. If/when you go to sell your bag, you definitely won’t recoup as much as you’d like with YSL, but the loulou seems like the ”better” investment piece.
