Reply reply Most EQ copies came with the paper map, but Best Buy had a cloth map exclusive. It's a bit bigger than the Kunark one so I tried to show a rough comparison. I can do a more detailed comparison if people are interested. I've seen paper maps, but remember a cloth original map with just the 3 continents. Also, does anyone have a idea where I could find one? Looking to buy one for a friend from Christmas and haven't seen one on eBay for over 3 months.

I could be mistaken but there were only two packages that contained cloth maps. The Kunark box and the Gold box (PoP era release). I actually bought the Velious box a couple years ago specifically for the map since I like to frame and hang up video game artwork. There was definitely no cloth map in the Velious box. Unless there's a deluxe version of the Velious box or something, I'm guessing that's a non-official map. __________________. Was there a Velious cloth map or just plastic/paper? Extract the file inside your Everquest map folder or drag and drop the content of the zip *Inside* your main eq *maps* folder. In game, open the map window.
